If you did not participate in the last EIBA conference, it's easy to apply for or renew your EIBA membership quickly and efficiently online! By way of confirmation, an automatically-generated invoice & payment receipt – along with an electronic membership card & unique ID number for the calendar year – are delivered to your inbox via e-mail (as per your personal profile). ATTENTION: The e-mail address & password of your EIBA/EIASM profile are required to login & gain full online access benefits via the members-only gateways. NOTE: To check and/or update your own profile (which is each individual's responsibility), please use the Consult/Update My Profile webpage (under the My Profile menu of this EIBA website) – or visit the EIASM website for more details.
*Are you a PhD Student?
To qualify for the lower EIBA PhD membership fee when applying or renewing online, follow the CLICK HERE link above, then select 'Update your profile' on the online form – and indicate that you are 'Affiliated with a University/School'. This leads to a link to 'Upload supporting documentation' (which must be done prior to payment in order to be eligible for the lower fee). Once a letter or other valid proof of status has been successfully uploaded and the updated profile saved, EIBA is automatically notified to verify the documentation (this could take up to several days so expect a delay). Once authorised by EIBA, an e-mail notification is delivered to the applicant's inbox by the system (check your Junk Mail folder!) – and the PhD Student fee will display on the online form (instead of the Regular fee). Complete the process by selecting & paying the lower membership fee by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only). ATTENTION: If you are not using the online membership system (the preferred method), please contact EIBA to inquire about making a bank transfer, etc. NOTE: Refer to the above Procedure for relevant info on memberships & personal profiles.
**Are you a Retired Member or Emeritus Fellow?
To qualify for the lower EIBA Retired membership fee when applying or renewing (online or otherwise), you must meet the following three criteria: (1) not in full-time employment; (2) at least 68 years old; (3) a loyal (continuous or frequent) EIBA member over the past ten years. To proceed online, follow the CLICK HERE link above, then select 'Update your profile' on the online form – and indicate that you are 'Retired'. This leads to a link to 'Upload supporting documentation' (which must be done prior to payment in order to be eligible for the lower fee) – a signed letter (scanned as a PDF file) attesting that you meet the eligibility requirements would suffice. Once a letter or other valid proof of status has been successfully uploaded and the updated profile saved, EIBA is automatically notified to verify the documentation (this could take up to several days so expect a delay). Once authorised by EIBA, an e-mail notification is delivered to the applicant's inbox by the system (check your Junk Mail folder!) – and the Retired Member fee will display on the online form (instead of the Regular fee). Complete the process by selecting and paying the lower membership fee by credit card (MasterCard or Visa only). ATTENTION: If you are not using the online membership system (the preferred method), please contact EIBA to inquire about making a bank transfer, etc. NOTE: Refer to the above Procedure for relevant info on memberships & personal profiles.
